TKGT 1

The SKF Grease Test Kit TKGT 1 is a collection of different testing methods to test and analyse grease samples in the field. Lubricant analysis is a vital part of a predictive maintenance strategy and oil analysis has already become a standard in many industries. Greases, however, were rarely examined despite the fact that 80% of bearings are grease lubricated. Tribology expertise and years of research have allowed SKF to develop a complete methodology to assess the grease condition and developed the easy to use test kit TKGT 1. With this kit the grease consistency can be tested, oil bleeding characteristics determined and grease contamination evaluated.
